Bible Seminar—Passover, the Seal of GodJune 7, 2018
On March 11, 2018, a Bible Seminar titled “Passover, The Seal of God” was held by the World Mission Society Church of God Singapore (SGWMSCOG). In the book of Revelation, it was prophesied that winds are being held back from destroying the earth (Revelation 7:1). We have to receive the seal of God before the winds are released to the earth.
Passover, The Seal of God
Revelation 7:2-3 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
Before the earth is harmed, an angel from the east proclaimed that the seal of God is to be placed on the foreheads of God’s people. By receiving the seal, we can be protected from the last disaster. According to the Bible, we can find the seal of God on Jesus Christ.
John 6:27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
In order for us to receive the seal, we have to become one with Jesus (John 6:53-56). We can become one with Jesus by eating His flesh and blood during the new covenant Passover (Matthew 26:17-19, 26-28). Thus, the way to receive the seal of God is to observe the Passover. God who wants all mankind to be saved, has proclaimed the good news of salvation before destruction comes.
The Bible seminar concluded with a short quiz and many participants were eager to answer the questions. Those who answered correctly were complimented with a small gift.
“It is comforting to know that God wants to give us the seal of God so we can be protected from disasters. Thank you Church of God for inviting me to this Bible Seminar”, said Muryani, 55, an invited guest.
To be protected from the impending disaster, we need to receive the seal of God. The Church of God welcomes all mankind to keep the Passover together to receive God’s protection.
