Giving Life Through Love: 1,633rd Worldwide Blood Drive to Give life Through the Love of the Passover
On a sunny morning, April 27, 2025, a lively group of participants gathered for the “1633rd Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of Passover,” hosted by the World Mission Society Church of God at the Health Science Authority in Singapore. The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the emcees, who excitedly reminded everyone that just one pint of blood can save up to three lives — a small donation, with a big impact!
The main theme of the event was simple yet profound: giving life through the love of Passover. A short and heartfelt presentation highlighted how Christ’s sacrifice on the cross made a way for mankind to receive forgiveness and eternal life. The message was clear: just as Christ shared His life-giving blood, participants were also invited to contribute by donating blood to help others.

The parallels between the life-saving power of blood donations and Christ’s love were both powerful and moving. It wasn’t just about giving blood — it was about following in the footsteps of selflessness and kindness. Everyone left the presentation feeling inspired and ready to roll up their sleeves (literally) to make a difference.
Gratitude was expressed to generous sponsors like LeTAO, Yakult, and Rocky Master, who helped make the event a success. A short video then played, showcasing the Church’s global mission to spread love and salvation. It was a nice touch, reminding everyone that they were part of something much bigger than just the blood drive.

The crowd was then treated to beautiful music by the Light of Life Orchestra, who performed “Seasons of the Gospel” and “Spring of My Hometown.” The soothing melodies were a calming touch, especially for those donating blood for the first time. It was like a little musical hug to ease any nerves!
Donors also shared their personal reasons for participating, and their words were heartfelt and uplifting. Zhao Zhuli said, “I hope that through my blood donation, more lives can be saved. When we practice love together, we can make the world a better place.” Long-time donor Leon Lee Ban Chen added with a smile, “You’re not just receiving blood, you’re receiving hope. I encourage recipients to pass on this hope by donating too.”
As the event wrapped up, participants gathered for a cheerful group photo and watched videos showcasing the positive impact of their contributions. Everyone left with a renewed sense of purpose, reminded that love, sacrifice, and kindness can truly change lives — and even save them.
The 1633rd Worldwide Blood Drive wasn’t just a day of giving — it was a celebration of hope, connection, and the power of love. Through every drop of blood donated, every smile shared, and every heartfelt word spoken, participants proved that together, we really can make the world a better place.
