April 23, 2023
The 1170th Worldwide Blood Drive was held in Singapore on April 23, 2023. Members of the World Mission Society Church of God enthusiastically participated, inviting family and friends to join them at Bloodbank@HSA in the morning. At the auditorium, they participated in a program filled with inspiration and encouragement.

His Excellency Carlos Vasquez Corrales, the Peruvian Ambassador to Singapore, was the Guest of Honour at the event. He expressed his excitement in his welcome address to the participants. Mr Vasquez Corrales was aware of the extensive efforts by World Mission Society Church of God volunteers in his home country and expressed his honor in supporting their efforts in Singapore as well. He said, “I feel very honored to be with all of you this Sunday morning, to celebrate this blood donation event that reveals the supreme importance of the virtues of solidarity and compassion.” He praised the Church of God for its global contributions, stating, “I would like to sincerely commend the Church of God for its invaluable global efforts to enhance the health and lives of people, both Christians and non-Christians, through these blood donations.”

The blood donation drive collected approximately 17,000 milliliters of blood.
Members of the World Mission Society Church of God strive to follow the teaching of God, “It is more blessed to give love than to receive, as God always gives love.” Despite the challenges of daily life, they make time to give back to the community through various volunteer activities, including blood donation drives.
