God's Existence Testified in the Bible

Many assert that they only believe in what they can perceive and are sceptical of the unseen. This often leads to a struggle to believe in God’s existence, as He is not visible to our eyes. But is it truly impossible to believe in God simply because we cannot see Him? Have you ever wondered about the unseen forces that govern our world?

The World We Can See and Feel Is Limited

Earth’s Rotation and Revolution

While you may feel we are stationary on the Earth, have you ever wondered at what speed the Earth rotates around its axis and the speed at which it revolves around the Sun? Scientists have concluded that not only does the Earth rotate while revolving around the Sun, but our whole solar system to which our Earth belongs orbits the Milky Way’s center at an immense speed beyond our imagination.

The Earth’s rotational speed at the equator is about 1,670km/h, which is very fast compared with the speed of an aeroplane (which flies at about 1000km/h). The speed of the Earth’s revolution is even quicker, at 110,000 km/h, and the solar system, which revolves around the Milky Way travels at a speed of 790,000km/h.

When we delve into the intricacies of the Earth’s rotation and revolution, do we witness it with our own eyes or feel its movement? Few can claim to have directly observed or sensed its speed. This is why even scientists, in their pursuit of knowledge, often rely on indirect evidence to explain such astounding discoveries. Yet, we all accept these as undeniable facts.

Electromagnetic Waves

Electromagnetic waves are a form of radiation that travels through the universe, and the wavelengths we can see are limited. We can see visible light rays but not other electromagnetic waves such as ultraviolet, infrared, or radio waves, that carry signals for televisions, radios, and cellular phones. Can we then conclude that they do not exist simply because we cannot see them? We use these waves precisely because they exist!

Microorganisms, Elementary Particles and the Universe

Microorganisms and elementary particles are invisible to our naked eyes. Similarly, we cannot see the expense of the universe, which is very distant from us. We can only observe them to a limited extent using microscopes or telescopes. This demonstrates how limited our abilities are. Therefore, can we conclude that God does not exist? Surely not.

Psalms 53:1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

The Bible Testifies God’s Existence

Then, how can we know God’s existence? The Bible has been given to humankind just for this.

John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me…

Just as a microscope reveals the hidden world of microorganisms and a telescope unveils the vastness of the universe, the Bible serves as a spiritual instrument. It allows us to explore the realm of God and understand His plans and prophecies. By studying the Bible, we can gain a deeper understanding of God’s existence and His works, which are evident in the world around us.

Therefore, let us know and come to understand God’s existence through the Bible and hope for the eternal kingdom of heaven that is drawing closer!
