My People Know My Name

When oriental artists finally finish the work they had completed by pouring in so much effort, they proudly imprint the stamp which bears their name on their prized masterpiece.

God’s People Know God’s Name

The beloved people of God, too, bear the name of their holy God.

Isaiah 52:6 Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God…

Those who received and believed in His name, God regards as His people, His children. To them, He promised blessings that will grant them the right to enter the everlasting kingdom of Heaven

Blessings through God’s Name

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 16:27-31 …The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

God forgives the sins of those who believed in His name, promising them salvation.

Why were such great blessings bestowed upon them? When Jesus came, many failed to recognize Him. Instead, they turned their backs on Him, even calling for His death. Amongst them, only a few believed in His name, and these few were regarded as precious in His sight.

By the way, in the current age, by what name can we receive such great blessings?
